You hear the door close. Rachel is back, carrying groceries. Stand to meet her and kiss her on the cheek. She turns away from you and puts the groceries on the table, sighing. “The store was very busy,” says Rachel.
Say: “At least now your home with me.” She leaves the groceries on the counter and walks to the bedroom. Her shoes leave tracks of dirt on the floor you have just cleaned. Stand up, go unpack the groceries. Wonder what time Rachel will want to eat dinner.
